A thorough, individualized assessment to understand your unique needs.
The initial psychiatric evaluation is a comprehensive assessment designed to develop a thorough understanding of each patient's psychiatric concerns, history, and goals. We evaluate a broad range of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, insomnia, substance use disorders, psychosis, and other psychiatric conditions.
- Review of presenting psychiatric symptoms and concerns
- Psychiatric history, including prior diagnoses and treatments
- Medical history and current medications
- Family psychiatric history
- Psychosocial history and current functioning
- Individual treatment goals
- Mental status examination
Following the evaluation, the provider will discuss findings, diagnostic impressions, and individualized treatment recommendations with the patient.

Medication Management

When medication is determined to be clinically appropriate as part of a patient's individualized treatment plan, Axon Psychiatry Group provides comprehensive psychiatric medication management.
